MYANMAR/BURMA COMMISSION ALLOCATES 15,5 MILLION IN HUMANITARIAN AID (Thai Press Reports)

- The European Commission has allocated 15.5 million in humanitarian aid for vulnerable groups in Burma/Myanmar and to Burmese refugees along the Myanmar-Thai border. The decision will help address some of the basic humanitarian needs of around one million needy people in Myanmar.

Yesterday as we crossed a Burma Army controlled road to take relief supplies up north to the areas under attack, over 60 people crossed going the other way. These were more families from Toungoo District who could not live under the abuses of the Burma Army
